THAT'S MY DAD!
In the summer of 2024, Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota was nominated for Vice President on the Democratic ticket. His son, Gus, overcome with pride and emotion, rose to his feet to shout "That's My Dad!" The powerful moment was one of precious few that fraught summer that brought people across the political spectrum together, rejoicing in the unrestrained love of a young man for his father.

PRIDE AND JOY
The exuberance of the couple in ‘Pride and Joy’ is a celebration of life, love, and freedom. The piece is a tribute to the dignity, equality, and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community and invites the viewer to share in a sense of optimism about the future.

CRUISING TOPLESS
The inspiration for this quilt was a drive in my convertible on a glorious October afternoon.

THE LAUGHING CLOWNS

SEEKING REFUGE
I created this quilt shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. The refugees from that conflict joined the millions of displaced people the world over who have been forced to flee from war, famine, and persecution.

Rainy Day
This was the quilt that started it all! Completed in 2021, it launched me into my exploration of this way of making art.
